Becoming is not solitary — it is shared.
At the Shifting Waters Leadership Institute (SWLI), we believe true excellence begins within and flows outward into public brilliance. Transformation requires both the heart and the hard work of formation.
The Unfinished Series: A Journey Into Becoming is a guided six-part formation experience exploring identity, time, dreams, healing, truth, and connection.
Rooted in theology, psychology, and lived wisdom — each session invites you to slow down, listen inwardly, and rediscover what it means to lead from wholeness.
A journey into the inner life of leadership.
Launching 2026
Formation is not a product — it is a becoming.
We live in a world that measures leaders by output, performance, and visibility — yet the deepest transformations happen long before anything is seen. At SWLI, we believe leadership is first an inward work: a formation of character, vision, and wholeness that flows outward into influence, responsibility, and service.
The Unfinished Self, the collective growth is a live, guided webinar series exploring the sacred work of becoming whole — spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and relationally. Each session draws from theology, neuroscience, ethics, and lived experience to help leaders reclaim what is often lost in modern culture: depth, courage, meaning, and interior life.
Rather than rushing toward completion, this series invites participants to sit inside the unfinished places — not as deficits, but as fertile ground where God, grace, and growth take root. Over six months, we will explore identity, calling, time, healing, dreams, truth, and connection as pillars of whole-person leadership.
To preserve the integrity of the experience, each session is limited to 50 seats. This allows for guided reflection and meaningful participation rather than passive attendance.
This is not content consumption — this is formation.
Not self-improvement — but inner transformation.
Not arrival — but becoming.
As we prepare for launch in Spring 2026, we invite those who sense this calling — those longing for a deeper way of leading and living — to join us at the threshold of this journey.
If you desire to grow not just as a leader, but as a human being — whole, grounded, and spiritually formed — this series was created for you.
Each webinar is a 60-minute reflective conversation designed to awaken curiosity and inner awareness — hosted by Grace A., with rotating SWLI facilitators.
All sessions are free and open to leaders, practitioners, and seekers of deeper growth.

All workshops will have a set price, and pricing details will be provided.
The Unfinished Work — Identity & Becoming
Bridge after Webinar 1
When we recognize that unfinished places are not failure but formation, the natural next question becomes: Who am I becoming? And who is God shaping me to be beneath what others see?
For those who desire to deepen this inward becoming, we continue the journey in a guided space where identity is clarified and calling is rooted — our Identity & Calling: uncovering the Who Workshop.
Living Between the Ticks — Time & Sacred Stewardship
Bridge after Webinar 2
Once we awaken to the reality that time is entrusted, not guaranteed, the invitation becomes learning to live by intention rather than reaction — by spiritual rhythm rather than urgency.
For those ready to align their inner priorities with their lived patterns, we step more deeply into a reflective practice space where desire, discipline, and spiritual cadence meet — our Rule of Life Workshop.
Seeds of Becoming — Dream, Trust & Discernment
Bridge after Webinar 3
When we learn that some dreams are not denied, but protected by divine timing, we are invited into the work of discernment — how to hold a dream without rushing it, and how to release it when God is reshaping it.
For those ready to listen beneath the surface and walk with their dreams more faithfully, we continue in a discernment circle that guides vision through maturation — our Purpose & Vocation Workshop.
When the Soul Leaks — Healing & Inner Repair
Bridge after Webinar 4
When the soul signals that something within us needs tending, the invitation is not to tighten our grip, but to let God meet us where the fracture began.
For those who feel called to move beyond awareness into repair — into the slow work of integrating what has been wounded or numbed — we continue the journey in a deeper space of spiritual accompaniment through our Inner Formation Workshop.
From Comfort to Courage — Truth, Integrity & Moral Alignment
Bridge after Webinar 5
When we realize that meaning is not found in arrival, but in alignment — when our inner life and outward life finally tell the truth together — the next step is learning to live that integrity in practice.
For those ready to steward conviction as a way of life, and not merely belief, we continue in a guided space where character becomes embodied leadership — our The Cost of Ethical and Principled Leadership Workshop.
The Unfinished People — Communion, Belonging & Shared Becoming
Bridge after Webinar 6
When we return to the understanding that we are formed in relationship — not isolation — the invitation becomes stepping into community that is spiritually anchoring and emotionally honest.
For those who desire to grow alongside others in a rhythm of shared accountability and grace, we move into a relational formation space that matures connection into practice — our Relational & Emotional Formation Workshop, which also serves as the on-ramp to SWLI’s Accountability Circles.

The Shifting Waters Leadership Institute develops leaders who lead with wholeness, integrity, accountability, and purpose. Rooted in the belief that every person is made in the image of God—the Imago Dei—SWLI cultivates communities where leaders grow together and inspire lasting change.

We are not behind — we are becoming.
Description:
There are seasons when the work pauses, progress stalls, and what once moved forward now stands still.
We often call this delay — but in formation, this is an invitation.
In this session, we will explore the difference between failure and unfinished growth, and why spiritual and psychological transformation often happens beneath the surface, before it ever appears outwardly.
We will examine the role of process, patience, and inner fortitude, and how “unfinished” places are not detours but development.
This gathering invites leaders to release the illusion of arrival and reimagine formation as the slow, sacred work of becoming.
Bridge / Invitation:
Following this session, participants will be invited into a deeper workshop on identity, calling, and inner formation, where we explore how “becoming” is cultivated through practice, reflection, and spiritual anchoring.
Launching 2026
We don’t own time — we are entrusted with it.
Description:
We live as if we are promised years, yet we are only ever given moments — brief windows of grace we call “now.”
This session reframes time not as a resource to control, but as a gift to the steward.
We will explore embodied awareness: how presence deepens purpose, how urgency without panic can shape wisdom, and how spiritual maturity grows when we stop postponing what our souls are asking us to pay attention to.
Rather than racing through life, we will consider what it means to live attuned — awake to meaning, responsibility, and eternity woven into ordinary days.
This is an invitation to become leaders who live on purpose, not by accident.
Bridge / Invitation:
Participants will be invited to the follow-up workshop on crafting a Rule of Life, a spiritual and practical framework for aligning time, intention, habits, and leadership identity with what matters most.
Launching 2026
Not every dream is delayed — some are still taking root.
Description:
We live in a culture that wants arrival without formation and visibility without deep roots.
But some dreams are not miscarried — they are maturing in hidden places, preparing us before they reveal themselves.
In this session, we explore why God often grows vision in obscurity, and how spiritual patience becomes a form of wisdom.
We will examine the difference between forcing outcomes and allowing sacred timing to shape readiness.
Rather than grieving what has not yet unfolded, this conversation invites us to see dreams as seeds — buried for a season so they can bloom in due time.
Bridge / Invitation:
Those seeking deeper discernment will be invited into our Purpose & Vocation workshop, designed to help leaders recognize when a dream is resting, evolving, or ready to emerge — and how to walk with it faithfully.
Launching 2026
Some seasons don’t need resilience — they need restoration.
Description :
There comes a moment when the veneer of strength gives way, and what we have been holding together begins to spill through the cracks.
This session explores the deeper work of inner healing — not as weakness, but as honesty, alignment, and return.
We will examine what happens when the soul signals distress, how the body holds what the mind represses, and why true transformation requires surrender before reconstruction.
Rather than “pushing through,” we will consider the sacred work of letting go — of allowing God to meet us not at our performance, but at our breaking point.
Here, leadership becomes wholeness in practice.
Bridge / Invitation:
Participants will be invited to a deeper Inner Formation Workshop — a guided space for processing wounds, reintegrating the self, and rebuilding trust with one’s own soul.
Launching 2026
Comfort preserves who we were — courage forms who we are meant to be.
Description:
Many of us search for comfort when what we truly need is clarity — about who we are, what we stand for, and what we are becoming.
This session explores the unfinished search for truth: how childlike openness protects us from cynicism, how conviction develops maturity, and how meaning is lived — not acquired.
We will examine why integrity cannot be outsourced, why identity without morality collapses, and why formation demands honesty with ourselves before influence with others.
This is a call to live not from performance, but from alignment — where belief and embodiment finally meet.
Bridge / Invitation:
Following this gathering, participants will be invited into an Ethical Leadership Workshop exploring how grace, courage, and truth become habits of leadership, not just ideals.
Launching 2026
We do not become whole in isolation — we become whole in relation.
Description:
Human beings are not designed for independence — we are fashioned for belonging.
This session examines connection as both spiritual truth and leadership necessity, rooted in the imago Dei and the sacred dignity we carry.
We will explore why disposability erodes community, why isolation fractures the soul, and how restoration begins when we learn to see one another rightly again.
Rather than networking or performance-based relationships, this is an invitation to communion — to being formed alongside others, not apart from them.
To lead well is to belong well.
Bridge / Invitation:
Participants will be invited into a Relational & Emotional Formation Workshop, which serves as the on-ramp into SWLI’s Accountability Circles and flagship programs for ongoing leadership transformation.
